Prof. Suzana Augustino, is a Senior Lecturer and the second Director of Directorate of Undergraduate Studies, at Sokoine University of Agriculture, also works with  Department of Forest Engineering & Wood Sciences, of Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania

  • Research and consultancy experiences cut-cross from Sustainable Use of Natural Resources especially the Medicinal Plants, Gender to current global issues like Climate Change Mitigation, Adaptation and REDD+ related aspects.
  • Conducted  a number of consultancies on socio-economic aspects of the forest resources in Tanzania
  • Teaches and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas of forest product utilization, natural resources and crosscutting issues

2013 – 2016 Member for a collaborative Project on Conserving repellent plants in Enduimet Wildlife Management Area of Longido division: A sustainable strategy to vector- borne disease control and climate change mitigation in nomadic herd societies, 2013 – 2016 under UNDP support
