Mawesa Nicholaus Ukani

Mawesa Nicholaus Ukani is an admission officer of the Directorate of Undergraduate Studies at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). Prior to this position, she served as a warden under the Office of the Dean of Students at SUA, with a responsibility of guiding and counselling students on social and academic issues.

EDUCATION

Mawesa holds a Bachelor’s degree of Education in Policy Planning Management from Open University of Tanzania (2014-2017),

Diploma in Education from MandakaTeachers College,

Ordinary Level at Mkwakwani Secondary School, Tanga City Council.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Before Joining to SUA, Mawesa worked as an educational officer in Tanga City Council specifically at Mnyanjani Secondary School where she was teaching English Language for Ordinary level and served as Head of Academic Department (2016-2020).

Also, she served as a Primary Education Teacher at Mambo primary School Lushoto, Tanga, Lilungu Primary School Mtwara-Mikindani and Mnyanjani Primary School at Tanga City Council.
